Carassauga 2016 - A report from Canada

"Vasudev kutumbakam" the one phrase that my parents always kept reciting to me as rechild. But I felt the true essence of it when I attended and Participated in the Carassauga 2016 organized by The City of Mississauga, Canada. Mississauga a Hugely Diverse city with people from global ethnicity enjoy every minute together .In 2016, 28 Pavilions representing over 70 cultures were set up in Carassauga which means Cultural Mississauga. It is Almost like Travelling the world without actually having to spend thousands of dollars on it. Each Pavilion depicted the culture of the country of origin and provided a lineup of entertainment. Interactive entertainment included dance classes and performances, storytelling, skits, fashions shows, games, music, theatre and film.
India Pavilion has a glory  of its own, Food,  jewellery, A photobooth with Rajasthani Backdrop and Bollywood movie Booth and Indian Style Dresses and Shoe counters . It was so colorful that probably even the Paint color chart does not have so many colors. While walking through the pavilion felt like attending a Mela. The Inauguration was done by the Mayor Bonnie Crombie herSelf. The Members of IP foundations Suramya Mishra, Vikram Singh, Armaan and Somya Mishra performed Ganesh vandana and Krishna and Radha Leela representing the Lord Shiva, Ganesha and Radha Krishna on an international platform
